Prácticas, decisiones y criterios en el análisis geográfico de los servicios a la producción

Abstract

Producer services represent one of the most dynamic economic activities. Scholarly interesthas been increasing and so the number of publications. Conceptual and analytical problemsare recognised by most of the researchers and this is why we can find a variety of pragmatic andad hoc approaches. We review some recent work by geographers and stress the variety ofpractices, decisions and criteria to implement empirical analysis. The impact of those practiceson the lack of a theory is showed as well as the appeal of the topic for present and furtherresearch.
