La historiografía revisionista israelí. Terremoto, giro y declive

El propósito de este artículo es analizar e historizar la aparición, el apogeo y el ocaso de la historiografía revisionista israelí a partir de finales de la década de 1980, así como su relación con el pasado y el presente de Palestina-Israel o del denominado “conflicto palestino-israelí”. En distintas ocasiones, se ha considerado que la historiografía revisionista israelí o “nueva historia” supuso una “revolución” o un “terremoto” en la historiografía sobre Israel-Palestina. Tuvo una gran influencia en la revisión de los mitos fundacionales israelíes, en los debates académicos y políticos, en la relación de la sociedad judía israelí con su pasado, en el denominado “proceso de paz” de la década de 1990 y en las relaciones israelopalestinas. Desde la llegada de la historiografía revisionista israelí, la discusión pública en torno a los principales episodios históricos de Palestina-Israel ha sido especialmente intensa en la esfera internacional y ha traspasado múltiples fronteras físicas y simbólicas. Sin embargo, se evaluará cómo en el siglo XXI no solo se ha visto fragmentada, sino que ha estado desbordada y sobrepasada por otros marcos interpretativos aplicables a Israel-Palestina –como el paradigma del colonialismo de asentamiento y las perspectivas decoloniales– de índole más abierta, compleja, crítica e innovadora y que intentan alejarse de la colonialidad del saber.
