The purpose of this work is to know the importance that cultural consumption has in processes of educational training to account for the fact that in the neoliberal era institutions are assessed equally but students are assessed differently…
The concepts of cultural consumption are analysed, then the social, cultural and economic context of three Normal Schools in Mexico to which are evaluated in the same way despite being totally different. These dynamics favour those who possess better structural conditions and an urban life.
