Abstract
The popularization of archaeology is constructed through different approaches. The most important are: 1) mass media (newspapers, journals, comics, films, radio, TV and Internet), and 2) museums, archaeological sites, archaeological parks and interpretation centers. There are many audiences for archaeological popularization and the mentioned media include strong ideological discourses, usually hidden. Ideology introduces political and identity bias, and it reproduces traditional discourses which we must break. Discovering hidden ideologies in archaeological popularization means the construction of a look more clean, free and honest on our remote and next history.
