Abstract

The “Zero Vitrine” from National Museum of Archaeology is defined in the exhibiting initiative that the museum institutions develop now. They pursue the research encourage of their collections, as well as fill out the museography discourse of its permanent exhibition. The titled “From 0 to 140 rpm: the introduction of the potter’s wheel in the Iberian Peninsula” works as example to show the origin, objectives and history of this particular initiative, and to evaluate the museology and museography evolution flows into the actual practice. Also, through it, we think about the importance of the research in the museums and it could be detailed its creative process.
