El exilio como literatura y la literatura como lucidez

Abstract

When we speak about the exile of Spanish intellectuals after the civil war of 1936 - 1939 people who left the country in different moments and for different reasons are considered. Besides, we many times estimate that, inside, there were only writers or thinkers supporting the new regime, what the own exiles never believed. We should, so many years after, rebuild the real picture of the Spanish intellectuality under the second dictatorship and ask ourselves for the reasons that still keep that cruel episode of the present history on the current imaginary.
