Abstract
The identification and caracterization of rocks forming the stone axes means a great perspective of archaeological analysis, such as the localization of raw materials sources (FMP) and to document the circulation of lithic materials in Prehistoric times. We present the first results obtained with aensemble of stone axes recovered in a group of valencian sites, wich a cronology of the third millenium b.C. We can show the explotation, of local sources and an important flow of other kind of rocks, with an origin out-side the arca studied, probably from the Betic Mountains.
