Abstract

This paper deals mainly with the study of a series of ceramic pieces that present a cover of clay on their sides. The objectives have been in one hand, to identify the techniques of manufacturation (how the pot and the cover are made, reasons to understand this type of covering and firing temperature). On the other hand, our aim has been to know the autoctonous or aloctonous character of these pieces and, finally, the usage given to these pieces of pottery. The results ha veproved the autoctonous character of the pieces, the development of the levigation technique tomake the coverings and the fact that one of the pieces was used as liquid container.
