Abstract

Cabecico de Parra is a little archeological site near to Almanzora river in the South East of Spain, which presents a wide occupation since phoenician colonization to late román period. In this article are presented the phoenician archeological levels of the VII century B. C. and it is discussed the relationships of the site with the phoenician colonization in the Almanzora area, mainly with the colony of Baria, and with the explotation of the silver mines of Las Herrerías.
