Abstract

We present the site of Piedras Negras, discovered in 2013 in full Serranía of Ronda (Málaga). The only remains recovered are lithic industry made in a local raw material, the quartz-sandstone. The technological preliminary study of a part of the collection allows a chronocultural frame in the Middle-Pleistocene Acheulean, making the site one of the oldest sites in the region.
