Main Article Content
Abstract
In this papper I study the materials of the Late Bronze Age-Iron Age phase in Alarcos documented in 2018. This archaeological remains contribute to the material definition of this phase, one of the unknown stages of the Protohistory of the Upper Guadiana. The functional and typological study of the materials allows us to know the commensality habits and the network of contacts of the populations of Alarcos during this time. The local production of tartesian pottery in the Upper Guadiana confirms the inclusion of this area in the dynamics of the Tartessian culture. According to the recent concepts of Tarteso, we include some communities from Guadalquivir and Guadiana Valley with particularities, although with common patterns that justify the affiliation to the Tartessian culture.
