Abstract

The research carried of the pottery centers in the Baetica that produced f ine tableware, has also  provided detailed  information  about  its  production structure  and  commercialization on  the  production  centers  of  hispanic  terra  sigillata. At  the  same  time,  as  traced  in  some extra-peninsular sigillata centers, favorable conditions were generated for the implantation of the different  officinae, which  drew together  these artisans. These Isturgian  craftsmen  reflect the  different  ways  of  production  management  and  distribution  of  the  products  over  a long period  of time.
