Abstract
The goods located during the excavations of tomb 155 of the Iberian necropolis of Cerro del Santuario de Baza (Granada) are analyzed with the aim of reviewing each one of the pieces and so establishing a series of criteria that allows organizing the funerary trousseau in different packs, which may correspond to different moments and rituals that took place during the burial of that woman almost 2,500 years ago. For the first time, after many years of more or less specific studies of the goods deposited in the funerary chamber, an interpretative proposal is made that allows to understand their symbolism because of their nature, arrangement and micro-spatial relationship.
