Abstract
Excavations at the necropolis found over the remains of the Roman forum of Pollentia city (Alcudia, Majorca) began in the decade of the 80 of the twentieth century and they continue nowadays. The study of the skeletal remains belonging to the excavation campaigns from years 2004 to 2008 has presented a typical mediterranean population, that carried out a intense physical activity, showed by the multiple pathologies found to level of the backbone and the sharp imprints muscle present in the limbs. These characteristics are present in individuals of masculine sex. It has been also appreciated the small number of children and senile individuals in the sample.
