Abstract

In this paper we consider eight funereal and votive inscriptions from different areas of the present province of Jaen, specially in relation to the territory of Mentesa Bastia (La Guardia), Salaria (Ubeda la Vieja), Ossigi Latonium (Cerro Alcalá, Mancha Real), Isturgi Triumphale (Los Villares, Andujar) and two oppida ignota which we place in the present townships of Alcala la Real and Santo Tome.
