LA EDAD DEL COBRE EN EL ALTO VALLE DEL GUADIATO (TRAMO FUENTE OBEJUNA-BELMEZ, CÓRDOBA): CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LOS ASENTAMIENTOS Y EVOLUCIÓN DIACRÓNICA

Abstract

Based on analyses of geomorphological fea tu res of the various Copper Age settlements in the upper valley of the Guadiato river (Córdoba province), and on chronological references drawn from archaeological remains, we propase a Chrono-typological evolution of those settlements by means of cultural phases, according to the various strategies of site occupational patterns and to their relationships with the resources in exploitation. All of this allows us to arrive at a fairly clase knowledge of the settlement in the above geographical area during the Chalcolithic period.
