Abstract

In this paper we analyse one of the most interesting epigraphic documents found in recent years in Baetica (Andalusia) and, specifically, in Granada. It is the only epigraphic testimony from Hispania which mentions the Roman god Stata Mater, one of the second-order divinities associated with the superior god "Vulcano" in other epigraphs from Rome.
