Call for Papers: 50th Anniversary of Paul Grice’s “Logic and Conversation”

An International Journal of Philosophy is pleased to invite submissions for a special section commemorating the 50th anniversary of Paul Grice’s groundbreaking paper “Logic and Conversation” (1975). This seminal work, which explicitly introduced the notion of implicature, marked a turning point in pragmatics and profoundly influenced the philosophy of language.

We welcome contributions that engage with Grice’s original insights, reassess their impact, or explore their continuing relevance in contemporary debates.

Accepted papers will be published in Issue 2, 2025.
