Call for Papers

  1. The Spanish Logic Prize is awarded every three years.
  2. Submissions should be unpublished papers, written in English, on any topic within the field of logic. Length should range between 10 and 30 pages.
  3. The winner will present his/her work at the 3rd World Logic Prizes Contest, competing with the winners in other countries.
  4. The Prize is a mark of distinction and includes support for the winner’s participation in the World Congress of Universal Logic (covering accommodation and registration fees), which will take place in Cusco (Perú) from December 9th to 14th 2025. The winning paper will be published in Logica Universalis (Springer).
  5. There are no restrictions regarding age, gender, race, or nationality. However, applicants must reside in Spain and be currently or formerly affiliated with a Spanish university.
  6. The Jury consists of prominent Spanish researchers representing a broad spectrum of logical disciplines:
    • María José Frápolli, President (University of Granada; Editor-in-Chief of An International Journal of Philosophy)
    • Enrique Alonso (Autonomous University of Madrid)
    • Claudia Fernández (University of Málaga)
    • Concha Martínez (University of Santiago de Compostela)
    • Cristina Barés (University of Sevilla)
    • Umberto Rivieccio (UNED, Madrid)
  7. Papers must be submitted by September 15th, 2025, and should be prepared for blind review. Please, send them to frapolli@ugr.es, with the subject “Spanish Logic Prize”.
