Training experiences of history teachers at the Federal University of Alfenas (Brazil)

The article presents experiences of teachers’ formation developed at the Alfenas Federal University through the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation, History subproject, from 2014 to 2016. The activities were carried out in partnership with schools in the city, which had supervising teachers and coordinating teachers. The discussion presented a part from the work developed by two of the area coordinators and allows the reflection on an important Brazilian public policy of teachers’ formation, with emphasis on the use of media resources in the teaching of history.
