During the 2021 social uprising in Colombia, known as estallido social, artistic representations played a key role, particularly through the intertextual dialogue between literature and music. In today's mediatized world, where political activism unfolds both in the streets and online, the social impact of literary texts depends on their performance contexts. This study integrates approaches to mediatized political memory, performativity in social poetry, and digital activism to examine how certain forms of protest rap, disseminated on social networks, give voice to a previously silenced communicative memory. The analysis of songs by El Teacher and Junior Jein demonstrates how the rewriting of cultural memory relies on the interplay between music and social poetry.
