Resumen

Tanto la interdisciplinariedad como la colaboración entre la administración, el profesorado, los desarrolladores curriculares y el alumnado son fundamentales para el Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenidos y Lenguas Extranjeras (AICLE). Este artículo explora la eficacia del Modelo Monterey (MM), un enfoque integrador y colaborativo que utiliza cursos AICLE para promover el uso auténtico de la lengua en contextos reales y significativos. En este artículo, se describen dos actividades pedagógicas que mejoran la competencia lingüística del alumnado. El MM desempeña un papel crucial para facilitar el diálogo interdisciplinario, romper las barreras académicas y mejorar las habilidades colaborativas entre los estudiantes. Estas implicaciones pedagógicas proporcionan información valiosa para educadores y administradores que buscan enriquecer la enseñanza de lenguas mediante la colaboración interdisciplinaria en sus instituciones.
