Abstract

After a brief chronicle of the Congress, wich is the base of this monographic number, a statement of the repopulation ordered by Philip II in the Kingdom of Granada is drown up, taking into consideration the different contributions, lectures and oral presentations of the participants. Future research guide-lines on this historical moment, its consequences and the preceding times (mudéjar, moorish and the war of 1568-1570), wich form an indivisible process, are suggested.
