Research data deposit policy

The International Journal of Racket Sports Science is committed to the FAIR Principles (findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability) for publishing research data. To facilitate their application, we recommend using the online tool FAIR-Aware, designed to help researchers and data managers assess their understanding of the requirements for datasets to comply with the FAIR Principles before depositing them in a repository.
To ensure the appropriate availability, citation, validation, reproducibility, and reuse of supplementary materials associated with published articles, we encourage authors to deposit the data generated in their research—such as databases, tables (Excel, Access, or similar), images, photographs, videos, 3D models, statistics, transcripts, or other materials—in open access institutional or thematic repositories that are part of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). If a clear repository is not available, we suggest consulting the international registry re3data, keeping in mind that each repository establishes its own deposit rules.
Articles whose data have been deposited in public repositories must include unique and persistent identifiers. Authors must indicate this deposit in the manuscript submitted to the journal, providing a brief description of the data type, the name and URL of the repository, the corresponding identifier, and the license for use and distribution. This information should be presented in a note immediately after the initial authorship information.
